2024 Pre-Team Development Program 

Pre-Team offers a great introduction to our summer swim team. Our Pre-Team Program is for children ages 4 and above who have had an introduction to swimming, but are not quite ready for competitive swimming.  We do require that participants are comfortable put their face in water, and can swim a 1/2 length of the pool without assistance, stopping, grabbing the wall or ropes, etc. 

Pre-Team offers a safe and nurturing environment with coaches who are in the water with the swimmers, and provide a lower swimmer-to-instructor ratio. It's a great way to learn how to swim while having fun with other children the same age. It's also a terrific way for kids to begin to learn the basic breathing and stroke techniques and gain endurance and confidence in the water. 

Pre-Team meets 4:00-4:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday starting on Tuesday, May 28 and ending on Friday, June 28 with the Lollipop Meet!  

The Lollipop Meet is a SUPER fun meet, just for our pre-team swimmers.  It is hosted at Seven Locks, and we have announcers, super fun/silly events, awards (lollipops) and LOTS of spirit.  The swim team shows up to cheer on our littlest sharks to show them how proud we are of them for how hard they worked all summer.  IT IS AN EVENT YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS!!  Our littlest sharks LOVE being the star of the show!!!

​Note: The first class will consist of an assessment by our Seven Locks Coaches.
